On behalf of the National Focal Point for the EEA and Norway Grants 2009 – 2014 we would like to invite you to the Industrial Cultural Heritage Conference within the Fund for Bilateral Relations at Nation Level, which will be held on 5th November 2013 in Ostrava (Lowe Area of Vítkovice).
The main aim of the conference is the official introduction and presenation of the Programme CZ15 to stakeholders with the participation of the Ambassador of Norway in Prague Jens Eikaas , Deputy Minister of Finance for International Relations and Financial Policy Eva Anderova and Senior Director of Internal Administration and European Programmes in the Ministry of Justice Milos Pochobradského . The conference will be hosted by Alexander Hemala .

The Programme CZ09 Research Support Fund was approved by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairson 25th January 2013. The Programme Operator of the Programme is the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. The Programme will be presented at the information event organized by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports on Friday 5th April 2013 in Building C, Karmelitská 7 Prague 1.
The EEA and Norway Grants have entered into a strategic partnership with the Council of Europe to promote tolerance and fundamental rights. This campaign against hate speech online starts on 22 March 2013 and will run through to 2014. Activities countering hatred are encouraged through the EEA NGO programmes. NGOs in Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain can apply for project funding to take action against hate speech through the EEA Grants NGO Programmes.The objective is to take action against hate speech online in all its form – while respecting freedom of expression.
The second seminar for representatives of applicants and beneficiaries of programmes was held on 20 to 22 March 2013 in order to get general information for the EEA and Norwegian funding from 2009 to 2014 ; organized by the National Focal Point - Ministry of Finance.
The aim of the seminar was to inform stakeholders about the current status of the process of preparation and implementation of the EEA and Norwegian funding from 2009 to 2014.
On 7th March 2013 the representatives of the Czech Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs attended the workshop focused on exchange examples of good practice in tackling domestic violence and violence against women. The Norwegian non-government organization Alternative til Vold presented its experiences in the field of programmes for victims of domestic violence and its perpetrators.
