The role of the National Coordination Unit (NCU) for the Swiss-Czech Cooperation Programme
The Ministry of Finance, as the National Coordination Unit (NCU), is responsible for achieving the goals of the Swiss-Czech Cooperation Programme, which result from the Framework Agreement signed between the Czech Republic and Switzerland on 29 June, 2023.
Main responsibilities of the NCU:
- functions as a concact point and represents the Czech Republic in relations with Switzerland during the implementation of the Swiss-Czech Cooperation Programme.
- is responsible for fulfilling the Framework Agreement and ensuring that individual programs contribute to the goals of the Swiss-Czech Cooperation Programme.
- monitors the quality of implementation of individual programmes and their progress in fulfilling programme outputs, results and goals according to agreed indicators.
- controls the efficient and proper use of financial resources.
- ensures the publicity of the Swiss-Czech Cooperation Programme and provides information to the public.
